Hey DarkBloodbane, checked this one out! I'm enjoying it, the UI in particular gave a really satisfying impression (like the music pausing and the sfx playing when paused), very nice. I like the concept, classic gameplay and upgrades you put.
The one major problem I have is that I can only shoot forward, despite the directional aiming animation still playing. I press and hold a direction and press Z, but it just cancels out and shoots forward instead. Because there is a level where you must use the up aiming to kill enemies, I got stuck :/
Otherwise great job!
Yeah, I didn't realize that keypads between Enter and numpads don't work well, therefore I suggest reconfigure movement keys to other keys. I personally use numpads which work well.
Thanks for playing BTW.
Okay I was able to reach the second boss. The game is delightfully challenging, but I can't go much further without a checkpoint or a save function... It's a bit too challenging without it. I have to start from the beginning of the game when I die. Is there a save button I'm missing somewhere?
Sorry about that, I've disabled autosaving after every level without realizing that others might need it.
That's why I need playtesters like you to give me feedback about difficulty etc :).
